Application Area

Used in the production of o-Chlorobenzyl cyanide, o-Chlorobenzyl alcohol, and in the synthesis of dyes and pharmaceuticals. 2-Chlorobenzyl Chloride is a primary raw material for the production of the fungicide Prothioconazole and an intermediate for the herbicide Clomazone. It is also an intermediate for the pharmaceutical Ambenonium chloride. An organic synthesis raw material, used in the pharmaceutical industry to manufacture stimulants like Ambenonium chloride.
